Software: Paperless Office (ERP Solution) Before using Databiz ERP, CSL was using another small package software for Financial Accounting and Billing only. They just used it for their billing purpose. But during the period 2000 and onward, CSL was growing in a substantial rate which was although a positive sign for the company, but the entire business operation was going out of control when ever there remains a shortage of supervision by the top management. So the visionary MD was searching for a complete ERP which will not only shape up the organization, but also maintain and improve the total productivity without a direct day to day intervention of the top management. He talked with some developer companies (home and abroad) and finally got to know that Databiz is doing this sort of ERP from years around and implemented around 100 Software by that time. Then he made appointment with Databiz CEO again for the 2nd time and asked for an entire ERP for his business. Then after having demonstration and negotiation, they decided to finalize Databiz “Paperless Office (ERP)” as their central ERP (in the year 2003, June) with some other related module incorporated in it. After getting the work order, Databiz professionally started the implementation work. They made a team/committee to make a deployment plan and assigned two persons from Databiz and 4 persons from CSL to implement the software in Head office first. They jointly did the whole implementation procedure in 2-3 months and finally came up with a successful automation. Although initially they (the committee) faced some resistances from the existing users, but finally all the challenges were overcome by the strict order and instruction of the Managing Director Mr. A. H. M. Mahfuzul Arif. Now CSL is using Sales, Import and commercial, Purchase, Collection, Payment, Stock/Inventory, PC Assembling, RMA, Financial Accounting, Dealer Control, Corporate CRM, Personnel Management System, Servicing, Branch Monitoring, SMS module etc in their day to day operation in around 12 branches.
Why CSL use this Solution ?
Although in 2003 (when the software were purchased by CSL), Paperless Office (ERP) was almost a ready application. But CSL did a huge customization in the subsequent years in consistence with the need of their operational changes. Managing Director Mr. Arif is a visionary leader. During the last 5 years (2003-2008), he generated fantastic ideas to reach the software more and more. Some times he exclusively ordered for some specific modules and sometimes Databiz provided generic modules as up gradation. ![]()

DMP was maintaining their Ration Stock/Inventory and Billing department manually before getting automated by this solution. Like other Government Organization, DMP was also facing a serious lacking of control over their store and Ration department. Now DMP is using Delivery of Ration, Purchase from different source, Stock/Inventory, Collection (in their prescribed format), Payment (in their prescribed format), Financial Accounting (the required part) and Security module etc in their day to day operation in Ration Store.

![]() They delivered the requirements to Databiz Inc (along with other companies) and asked them to provide them a demonstration. After having a successful demonstration, they finalized the purchase from Databaiz. After getting the work order, Databiz Inc. professionally started the implementation work. They made a team/committee to make a deployment plan and assigned 1 person from Databiz and 1 person from DMP to implement the software in DMP, Rajarbagh, Dhaka first. They jointly did the whole implementation procedure in 2 months and finally came up with a successful result. Here it should be mentioned that during the implementation time DMP found some networking problem in the environment and blamed Databiz for their solution. But finally Databiz proved that there was no problem in their solution and suggested to change a switch (networking hub) which was found as a low category product (non-brand) although it was not within the scope of work. But after the successful completion, they thanked Databiz for this extra work without payment.
Although initially they (the committee) faced some resistances from the existing users, but finally all the challenges were overcome by the strict order and instruction of the DC (Supply) Mr. Ashan Habib (Polash). Then after the successful implementation DMP, Rajarbagh, Dhaka Databiz Inc. went for DMP, Mirpur, Dhaka for next implementation. DMP inaugurated the Software with a full media coverage event at that time and Mr. Nayeem Ahmed (Police Commissioner) officially opened the billing of ration store. Ending Note DMP, Rajarbagh, Dhaka is one of the most important Police Department in Bangladesh. Near about 22,500 ration holder staff are getting ration through this software every month. Databiz proved that a good software can be used in every phases of the product delivery operation and can have an excellent advantage in service satisfaction of Police Staff. At this point, Mr. Fattah got in contact with Mr. Rashed Kamal, the CEO of an emerging Software Development Firm, the Databiz Inc.
